A basic lesson today… “we”

nammal – we, including the listener – or “all of us”

njangal  – we, excluding the listener – or “us, but not you”

Bonus – njingal – you, excluding the speaker – or “y’all”

 

Sample sentences

Nammalku oru lakshyam annu.  We (all of us) have the same goal.

Njangal innu palliyil poyi.  We (us, but not you) went to church today.

Njangal njingaldu adithu vannu.  We came near you.
